I firmly believe food can change lives and everyone deserves to experience the joy both food and cooking can bring.
My mission is to teach and build confidence not only around food but the kitchen overall, from grocery shopping, preparation and cooking. For confident cooks to those who have little to no experience there are courses for all skill levels. Ultimately, the goal is to make it fun so the love of cooking can really shine!
I was born and raised in Calgary and have been cooking for 20+ years. My culinary journey began in my high school cafeteria. My passion for food was immediate and continues to grow to this day.
I worked in several chain restaurants and quickly realized I wanted to expand my skill set. I transitioned to top restaurants and hotels in Calgary before the age of 22. I was then provided with an opportunity to build on my talents at a flagship restaurant in Toronto. From there I shipped off to Europe for two years which is where I truly blossomed as a chef. Upon my return to Canada I worked in the best and busiest hotels in Vancouver which included a two-year contract for the 2010 Olympics.
I continued my career at that same Vancouver hotel for 6+ years and during that time we earned #1 in food quality in North America within our brand (out of 160 properties). I am now back in Calgary and ready to share my passion and the love of food with the city where it all began.
